Another weekend away...

Today Jeremy took the day off to get a ahead start on traveling across the state to Nana & Papa's. I think the ride there was one of, if not the best we have had. We now plan our traveling around their naptime. The thought process is that they will nap for a majority of the ride time rather then be raring to play...that makes for a BAD ride time. Even though it is a later start and Jeremy needs to take off in order to get a full weekend, it makes for happy kids which is what we strive for everyday...lol. As we pulled into Montfort our first stop was to see Great Grandpa Pluemer as well as Nan, Gary, Joe and Donelle. After visiting with them we headed to Nana & Papa's. The kids got to run some energy off outside using Nana's gardening tools and riding on tricycles. Our home away from home this weekend was Aunt Jeanne & Uncle Brent's camper. After eating dinner Jeremy was changing someone's diaper and decided to let them run around naked, so Nana, Papa, Christine, Doug, Sherri and Rhylinn got to experience the let loose kids we know and love (the kids are normally pretty quiet and calm on our trips to Montfort). For me it felt good for them to finally experience what I blog about. These kids are not quiet, shy and non-talkative...they (and I mean all three of them) are quite the opposite. They do take after their parents, so it is not shocking to us to see their different levels of comfort. They decide when they are ready, not us...anyways...they had a great time playing and did not fall asleep until 10pm! Here are some pictures from the wild times after dinner...
Zach having a serious talk with Rhylinn...I think he is telling her how to get into trouble.

A great start to our weekend away.
Love, Jen
