Milwaukee Domes
Today's field trip was oringally suppose to be to the Milwaukee Public Museum, but after a not so great niht of sleep for the kids we cancelled that and came up with a 'Plan B'. After thinking of a few other place like Discovery World which happened to be closed for the week, we decided on the Milwaukee Domes. It has been since middle or high school that I was there and Jeremy has never been there. It was not the most exciting place for the kids but a good learning opportunity...like just because some thing is in reach does not mean you can touch it. The Domes are a nice place and have some great plants. We did not spend a lot of time in each one, but made the most of it. Again we were one of a hanful of people there. Here are the pictures from the trip.
The beautiful garden right in front of the Domes...
The Domes...there is a dessert one, a tropical one and a showcase one...
The boys walking in...aren't they too cool...
Pretty flowers in the tropical dome...
and a beautiful waterfall...
with some big fishies...
and a birdie or two.
Perfect place for a group picture, now if the monsters would just cooperate...
Daddy pointing out something, not exactly sure what but the kids are interested...
Isn't he handsome? Acting all grown up...
Second dome we went into was the dessert...the 1st thing the kids noticed...the "ball" in the ceiling...they were pre-occupied with it the entire time...
